I have worked on many website projects and in some cases completed re-designs of business websites. One issue I always see to find is poor compression of graphics. Does your website take too long to load? - if so it could be the images are not compressed correctly on your website.

When I am away from the office and I need to compress some images I use GIMP 2. GIMP (Graphic Image Manipulation Program) gives you the ability to compress your images with ease. Best of all GIMP is free.
